Day 1

For your first day you have the option of a guided tour for your morning adventures.  Your day starts with the Valley of the Crooked Trees, The Meeting of the Waters and the Old Hydro Plant.  Then a stunning drive of switch-backs up to Mount Edith Cavell for The Path of the Glacier walk.

Your guide, should you choose to have one, will familiarize you with the plant and animal life as well as the wonders of Canada's Mountain Parks and safety issues in the Parks.

Having completed your morning adventures it’s on to Jasper Park Lodge for a romantic lunch in the Emerald Lounge overlooking Lac Beauvert and an enticing stroll around this scenic Lake.  A short drive away, Jasper Tramway awaits you for a panoramic view of the Athabasca Valley and the town site of Jasper.  If you are feeling ambitious the short yet intense hike to the summit will give you an even greater view.

Then back to Sunwapta to prepare for gourmet dining, great company and a relaxing evening.

Meals Included:  Breakfast and Dinner at Sunwapta Resort and Lunch at Jasper Park Lodge

Day 2

Day two is “water wonder” day, beginning with a short drive and walks to Horseshoe Lake and Edwards Lake.  Your next stop is Maligne Canyon where the foot path follows the turbulent river as it carves through the canyon creating pools and water falls.

Your deluxe picnic lunch may be enjoyed here or at your next stop Medicine Lake, some twenty minutes away.  This mysterious lake may be either a river or a hundred foot deep lake depending on the time of year.  As you travel the remainder of the way to Maligne Lake remember to watch for animals.  This road is famous for sightings of resident moose, big horn sheep, wolf and bear.

Once you reach Maligne Lake you will cruise on the crystal clear waters to "Spirit Island" one of the most photographed spots in all of the Canadian Rockies. As an option, trail riding by horseback in Jasper awaits you before your final stop of the day, Athabasca Falls.

Meals include:  Breakfast, a Deluxe Picnic Lunch and Dinner
