We had a wonderful stay at the Sunwapata Falls Resort Hotel. The staff was very nice! Check in was easy, questions answered, suggestions made, etc. They also helped us book the Maligne Boat Tour and the Athabasca Ice Fields excursion, which was a VERY easy process!! The dinner at the hotel was not our best, as we did not prefer the options, but with the closest town an hour away, it fit our needs. The complimentary breakfast is a standard fare of fake eggs, dry potatoes, pastries and toast/bagels. It fit our needs during the mornings. We will definitely be interested in staying here once again, as the staff was very helpful and the location was amazing.
We stayed here a couple of nights in September exploring the Jasper end of the Rockies and it turned out to be an unexpectedly good base! The lodge is very informal and relaxed, but nevertheless very well run. Fantastic staff, booked our trip to the Icefields for us without any fuss. The restaurant is very relaxed and easy-going. The lodge is also very near the Falls. We walked there - you could drive it as well. Wi-fi is available in the restaurant that also serves as as a lounge where everyone hangs out to pick up their emails etc. It just struck us as one of those places that had created a very homely, pleasant, no-frills atmosphere and a great place to stop.
Its a nice location to stay.<br>It was an excellent experiance staying at Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge. The brakfast served was very good. The location of the Lodge is nice.
Excellent location, strategically located on the Icefield Parkway. Staff was helpful and friendly. Minutes from beautiful Sunwapta Falls hike.we<br>Stayed there with our 3 kids and had a lovely visit. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Also, food was great!
Amazing place!❤️<br>Amazing place! Met all our expectations and more! Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, comfortable beds and the favorite- ability to enjoy the real wood fire place in the room! Will come back and recommend to friends! Regret we couldn’t stay longer
