Thanks so much for thinking of working at Sunwapta! We’re honored you would consider applying. First off, we have no work from home opportunities. We are a services based business, and all of our positions are at our lodge only.

The pandemic has heavily impacted tourism in Canada but we’re open and getting busier! We need people RIGHT NOW. We have a lot of new protocols designed in conjunction with Alberta Health Services and the Alberta Hotel and Lodging Association. From engineered spaces to ensure physical distancing, to PPE, lots of hand sanitizing stations, specific cleaning procedures and chemicals, as well as daily temperature and symptoms checks, we’re ready and already operating safely!

Everyone’s health and safety is a priority to us. Sunwapta is in a unique isolated area, but travelers come through. If you are afraid, or worried or concerned about your health, then don’t apply. Do what is right for you and #stayhome! We’ll be here for you when things feel safer for you to travel for work again.
